We’re proud to share that we’ve just won the prestigious “Gold Alexander Smith Grand Prix Award” for ESG Spirits Producer of the Year 2025 by Global Drinks Intel.

This latest honour rounds off an exciting year, following our B Corp Certification and Origin Green Gold membership earlier in 2025, all recognising our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business.

The judges decided to award based on our “continual improvement including new B Corp Certification. Installed energy efficient bottling line, continually striving for improvement, focusing on embedding successful business practices into production.”

Clonakilty Distillery was established in 2016 by the Scully family, who have farmed the coastal land for nine generations. With a deep connection to the land, the family set out to create single pot still whiskeys using locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices. Located on the waterfront in the heart of Clonakilty town, the distillery triple distils its award-winning whiskeys, as well as vodka and gin.
